Come up the stairs after dark. The lamps are low, the candles are lit, and Simone sings the songs of Paris — Piaf, Trenet, Dalida, Hardy — close and unhurried, in a room built for exactly this.

Dinner and cocktails through the evening. Reserve a table in the upstairs lounge.

About Simone

Texas-born, Paris-bred in spirit. Simone sings at the crossroads of 1950s Paris, old Italian cinema, and Southern soul — in four languages. In Houston she can turn a dive bar into a Left Bank jazz club; in Paris she is the rare American who brings Texas soul into the old French repertoire.

"I sing in four languages because I don't know how to live in just one world."
